He has specialized training in working with those with depression, anxiety, severe mental illness issues, victims of trauma and children.  He is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Mark believes in the dignity of every individual.  His approach is to help the client feel at ease and meet them where they are at.  He then challenges them to move to new areas of learning and exploring themselves and the world around them.  He works with them to not let the issues of depression, anxiety or other mental health issues keep them from enjoying life.  As a former pastor, he is able to talk about the spiritual issues individuals may face and utilize their own beliefs in order to facilitate healing and wholeness.

Roberta is a Licensed Mariage and Family Therapist.  She holds a MA from St. Mary's University of MN, and PhD, MA in Theatre Arts from Univeristy of MN, Twin Cities.  As a mental health practioner and professional, Ms. Cullen has clinical experience with clients of all ages.  She has worked at community centers, schools, a residential treatment facility, neighborhood clinics and in private homes for over five years.  Prior to, an during her journey as a therapist, Roberta has been a teacher, director, acting coach, workshop leader and managing director in the field of Theater Arts.  Her work with college, high school, and junior high students, helped her to recognize the need for greater mental health support for teachers, faculty and school staff.  College students experiencing a wide variety of emotional, psychological and social issues led Ms. Cullen to begin graduate studies in mental health.
She has had direct clinical contact with a wide variety of clients, She believes therapy is a resource specifically developed to help people face life's difficulties. Through therapy, people gain knowledge, discover and grow personal: strengths, abilities, and positive habits. Whether you (or people you love), are facing the same issue(s) in your life that you have been trying to change for years, or whether you've been blind-sided by a serious issue you could never have predicted, the therapeutic process serves as a powerful treatment/ally, ready to connect and collaborate with you (and your family or partner as needed), and make progress starting from where you are right now.
While she has many tools, interventions, theories and ways of working, everything flows from: who you are as a client (what's your story?), how you see your issue, what you think you want to change about your life, and how you might want to approach it.
As a licensed mental health therapist, Ms Cullen offers expert clinical knowledge and experience.  She is ready to support you to discover and travel a path to create a life that feels good to you, and bring out the best of who you are.
